This is a collection of late seventeenth-century Latin letters relating to the Church and especially to the Society of Jesus, all bound into one volume. Among other places, they emanate from or discuss Genoa, the South Pacific, the Philippines, Lisbon, Austria, the Balkans, Japan,China, Indochina, Paraguay, Brazil, and Mexico.
Mainly relating to sports. Opening pages contain signatures and comments by students and comments on performances at local theaters (Poli's, New National, Belasco's, Hippodrone New York City). Includes tickets to dances, photographs of Collier Hall, the main gates, Washington, D.C., and Mount Vernon, and 1914-1915 Georgetown University Athletic Association football and baseball ticket. Also game statistics from the Sun Bowl 1950.
Contains photographs and clippings. Among those featured: Marilyn Brickley; the Arnold Air Society; the Rifle Team; Cadet Colonel John E. Quinn; Colonel Ansel J. Wheeler; Master Sergeant Leo Kolarsky; and General Earle E. Patridge. Also included is material relating to Georgetown's observance of the 50th anniversary of powered flight.
